Darby Park Doodles and Friends have joined together
as a team to fight back against cancer.

On June 13th & 14th 'Team Doodle Paws' will be participating in
Brentwood's 24 hour Relay For Life to help raise money for
cancer research, awareness, and patient services.

Team Doodle Paws came in 4th Place, out of over 80 teams, in Brentwoods Relay.

We Raised $6,850.00!!!

TEAM DOODLE PAWS was a new team this year in the Relay For Life event. Signing up and finding team members only 5 weeks prior to the event and we still raised almost $7,000! Now that we have a jump start on next year, I know we can raise much more for Cancer Research, Awareness, and Patient Services. This year, Nationwide, the amount of money being raised for the American Cancer Society has significantly dropped due to our hard economic times. If we can all do just a little, through out the year, we can still make the impact needed to fight back against cancer.
There is no finish line until we find a cure!!

WE ARE LOOKING FOR DONATIONS FOR OUR 'SPIN WHEEL' FOR
NEXT YEARS RELAY EVENT.

CAN YOU HELP?

ITEMS WILL NEED TO BE NEW AND THINGS THAT KIDS WOULD LIKE.

THESE ITEMS WILL BE ADDED TO OUR 'SPIN WHEEL' AS PRIZES.

THIS YEAR WE HAD BEANIE BABIES, GLOW STICKS/NECKLACES, STICKERS,
WATER GUNS, SUNGLASSES. IT WOULD BE GREAT TO HAVE THESE ITEMS AGAIN ALONG WITH ANY OTHER IDEAS OR DONATIONS YOU CAN PROVIDE. (Large bouncy balls, Beach Balls, Bubbles, Mini Beanies)

If you know anyone that owns a business that can donate these types of items we would love to hear from you! The $1.00 store is also a great place to find these items.
